Krabi Mood

After a few days at Koh Tao we headed out to Krabi province, on the West coast, to meet up with Cat's fellow MBA travel buddy Chase.

We spent a few days in Ao Nang, a beautiful beach town with great views of the numerous offshore islands.

This was our 4th goodbye to Chase on the road (twice in India, once in Vietnam and once in Thailand) - and our last until we see him stateside. Bye Chase!

After Ao Nang, we headed to Tonsai, only to realize that it was really set up for climbers. Those into serious rock climbing and roughing it (Mr. Oesterreicher?) would love it, but it wasn't really for us. We had lunch there, watched a few climbers and waited out the storm so we could take a boat over to Railay.

Railay Beach was pretty built up and touristy. We only stayed one night there. Walked through the Pranang Cave to catch dusk at the famed Pranang Beach.
